This standard is formulated to implement the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Wastes, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Water Pollution, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Soil Pollution, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution and other laws and regulations, prevent and control environmental pollution, and improve the quality of the ecological environment. This standard specifies the ecological and environmental protection requirements, implementation and supervision of the site selection, operation, monitoring, waste storage, compatibility, and incineration process of hazardous waste incineration facilities. This standard is mandatory. This standard was first issued in 1999, first revised in 2001, and this is the second revision.
